A person was taken to the hospital tonight after falling from a CTA platform onto the tracks on Chicago's West Side, officials said.
The incident happened at about 7:30 p.m. at the Green Line Conservatory stop in the Garfield Park neighborhood, said Chicago Transit Authority spokeswoman Wanda Taylor.
Trains were halted and the power was shut off while Chicago Fire Department personnel rescued and treated the person, Taylor said.
There was no immediate information available about the condition of victim or which hospital the person was taken to for treatment.
CTA service resumed after about 15 minutes, Taylor said.
