Chicago firefighters rescued a window washer from outside the 26th floor of a Gold Coast high-rise this afternoon.

The worker was dangling from a rope and was brought to the roof of the building at 300 E. Ohio St. by firefighters at about 4 p.m., said Chicago Fire Department spokesman Quention Curtis.

He suffered minor injuries and will likely be taken to Northwestern Memorial Hospital.
