Third Coast Filmless Festival @ MCA

The MCA partners with the Third Coast International Audio Festival to present the Filmless Festival. This all-day event presents a variety of storytelling, audio documentaries, and sound in the form of unique audio screenings from some of the most innovative and celebrated radio producers. Highlights include a special presentation of a documentary-in-progress with Joe Richman, a celebration of the launch of the book Reality Radio with Ira Glass and the Kitchen Sisters, and presentations from past winners of the Third Coast/Richard H. Driehaus Foundation Competition. Q&As with the producers follow each presentation. This is the seventh event in the second season of Chicago Public Radio Presents. A festival pass is $30, MCA members $24 (subject to availability), evening screening only is $15, $12 MCA members. Any single daytime screening: $8, $6 for MCA members...Get your tickets through the MCA website. The festival begins at 11:30am and the evening event begins at 8pm. All performances take place in the MCA Theater and Kanter Meeting Center at the MCA: 220 E. Chicago Ave.
